Professional Biography

Lymari J. Santana is a founding shareholder of Mack & Santana Law Offices, P.C. and a highly experienced family law attorney with more than two decades of litigation and trial experience. She has focused her practice exclusively on family law since 2000 and co-founded the firm in 2004. Known for her strategic advocacy and practical approach, Lymari represents individuals and families facing complex legal and financial challenges during some of the most significant transitions of their lives.

Lymari handles a broad range of family law matters, including high-asset and high-net-worth divorce cases, child custody and parenting time disputes, paternity actions, post-divorce modifications, enforcement proceedings, and complex financial issues arising in family law litigation. She is recognized for combining strong courtroom advocacy with creative problem-solving to help clients achieve effective and efficient resolutions. In addition to her litigation practice, Lymari is a Qualified Rule 114 Mediator, providing an alternative dispute resolution option for parties seeking to resolve disputes through negotiated agreement.

Throughout her career, Lymari has earned significant professional recognition. She has been selected to Minnesota Super Lawyers since 2007 and has been named among the Top 50 Women Minnesota Super Lawyers and the Top 100 Minnesota Women Super Lawyers. Earlier in her career, she was recognized as a Minnesota Rising Star from 2005 through 2007. She frequently lectures on family law topics for continuing legal education programs and has co-authored several published articles addressing a wide range of family law issues.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Lymari earned her degree in political science with honors from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras, while attending on an Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps scholarship. She later earned her law degree from Michigan State University College of Law. Following graduation, she served nearly five years in the United States Army Judge Advocate General Corps (JAG), advising soldiers and their families on family law and other legal matters before serving as a criminal defense attorney with the 82nd Airborne Division. In 2000, she brought her extensive litigation experience to private practice in Minnesota, where she has focused exclusively on family law ever since.
